What You’re Getting

You’re booking Matosem Studios to create video and photo content for your restaurant. Exactly what’s included depends on the package you pick. The full deliverables for each (Starter, Taste, Signature, Strategy, and the Brand Film) are listed below and are part of this agreement. Kevin personally shoots the premium work.

A couple of honest notes on deliverables:

• ·Video lengths (like “30–45 seconds”) are targets. The final cut is something we land together, so the exact length can run a little over or under. Once you approve a cut, that’s the final version.
• ·Photo counts are a range. You’re guaranteed at least one finished still for every dish or cocktail we shoot, and usually more depending on what the shoot gives us.

02 · Revisions

Revisions

Every deliverable includes revisions so we get it right:

• ·Starter & Taste: 2 rounds per deliverable
• ·Signature & Strategy: 3 rounds per montage, 2 per other deliverable
• ·Brand Film: 5 rounds
• ·Most add-ons include 1 revision round; the One-Page Site includes 3. Site Care includes 1 revision on the $150 tier or up to 3 on the $300 tier.

A revision is a round of changes to something we already shot. If you want a shot or angle we didn’t film, that’s not a revision. It’d need a new shoot or an add-on, since we can only edit what exists. Extra rounds beyond what’s included are billed at $50 (short videos), $75 (longer videos), or $120 (Brand Film).

If you don’t send feedback or approve within 7 days of delivery, we’ll consider it approved so projects don’t stall.

03 · Payment & Billing

Payment & Billing

Payments run securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Retainers (Taste, Signature, Strategy) bill monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. The Starter, the Brand Film, and one-time add-ons are charged once. You’re responsible for any applicable taxes.

04 · Commitment & Cancelling

Commitment & Cancelling

Retainers run on a 3-month minimum, then continue month to month. After the minimum, you can cancel anytime with 15 days’ notice. We’ll just finish out the month you’re currently paid for (no refund on a month already started). The Starter has no monthly commitment.

Your rate is locked for the plan you signed up for. We may adjust our prices over time as the studio grows, but that will never quietly change what you’re paying on your current package. If we ever raise rates, it would only apply going forward, and we’d talk to you about it first, never just change the number on you. You’ll always know before anything changes.

If a payment fails, we’ll pause everything and email you to sort it out. You’ve got a 15-day grace period. Fix it in that window and we just push your shoot back, nothing’s lost. If it’s not resolved, the plan ends, though any months you’d already committed to still apply.

05 · What You Can Do With the Work

Your Rights to the Work

When your invoice is paid, you get a permanent license to use your finished videos and photos however you want commercially: post them, run ads with them, put them on your site, keep them forever, no watermarks.

A few things to know:

• ·We keep the copyright and the right to show the finished work in our own portfolio and reels. We will never hand your footage to another video company or use your restaurant’s look as a template for someone else.
• ·You get the finished files, not the raw footage or project files. If you ever want the raw footage, that’s a separate conversation and a separate fee. It’s not part of the standard packages.
• ·Music in your videos is licensed for that video.

06 · Rescheduling & Cancelling a Shoot

Rescheduling & Cancelling a Shoot

Life happens. You can reschedule a shoot free with 3+ days’ notice. Inside 3 days, there’s a $50 reschedule fee on Starter and Taste (your first Starter reschedule is free). Signature and Strategy clients can reschedule with no fee.

If you book a shoot and then cancel outright or don’t show, the payment for that shoot stands and we’re not obligated to film. That’s different from moving the date in good faith.

Brand Film: because it’s a full production day blocked just for you, it takes a 30% deposit to book (non-refundable). You can move the day free with 7+ days’ notice; inside 7 days the deposit is forfeited. The remaining 70% is due the day of the shoot.

The Starter

The $99 Starter is a one-time trial. It’s non-refundable, but if you just need to move the date, that’s a reschedule, not a loss (your first one’s free).

08 · A Few Legal Basics

• ·We’re an independent business providing a service to you, not your employee or partner.
• ·Anything private you share with us (recipes, plans, numbers) stays confidential.
• ·This agreement is the whole deal between us, and changes to it need to be in writing.
• ·This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York.

09 · Our Responsibility

Our Responsibility

We pour real care into every project. That said, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question, and we’re not responsible for indirect or business outcomes, like how a video performs or whether it drives bookings. We’re giving you great content; what happens in the market is shaped by a lot of things outside our control.
